Endangered Animals in our Republic
Cicionia nigra (Black Stork)
These birds are 1 metres tall
They weigh 4 kilograms
They lay 3-5 eggs
They eat small fish, frogs
They live in the forests and marshes
The temperature is +20° in summer and – 20°in winter
Because of deforestation the marshes dry out and the birds die
They make nests on the trees.
